THE LANCERS ARE MARRIED!

Wowie, how I love this couple. I met Lexi at a wedding that I photographed last summer and was SO excited when they booked with me! We immediately connected and I was over the moon to hear all about their summer wedding plans.

When July 18th finally arrived, me and my second shooter Kim set out for what felt like a perfect wedding day. My heart was so full to be around Colin + Lexi and their favorite people. I loved Lexi’s modern bridal style and was THRILLED to hear that she had found the perfect dress from Lillie’s Bridal Boutique here in Lubbock! Her dress had the prettiest nude undertone and was complimented by her bridesmaids’ white dresses. It was the first wedding that I’ve photographed where the bridesmaids wore white, and I have to admit… I WAS OBSESSED!

Colin + Lexi had a laid back morning, followed by a first look and portraits before their intimate ceremony at The Sage Chapel at Eberley Brooks. I was tearing up behind my camera as these two shared vows, communion, and laughs as their landlord (you didn’t read that wrong) shared their story as he officiated. I’m so thankful to be brought into moments like these, and to have a view of them that is completely unique and honestly pretty sacred. Photographing weddings will forever feel like an honor to me!

We danced the night away surrounded by stunning floral designs by Jessica Ormond Events. She nails it every time, and truly captured the whimsical and modern look that Lexi was wanting! It was breathtaking!
