I am excited to share Zach and Megan’s engagement session with you guys! I met up with them at the very beginning of quarantine in the Spring to photograph their engagement portraits. Actually, it was the DAY that all of the restaurants/coffee shops closed down. I remember this because I tried to go to Starbucks and it was CLOSED. Starbucks isn’t even closed on Christmas, so to be closed on a random weekday in March was definitely unusual. We started our session at Texas Tech and it was eerily empty as well. But I sort of loved it because we didn’t have to work around people/cars. It was just Zach + Megan (and me) against the world! It was also the glorious week that all of the cherry blossom trees (or at least that’s what I think they are) were in BLOOM! It’s the only session that I got with those gorgeous trees in it this year so I’m so glad we did Z + M’s portraits this specific week!
These two were SO fun to be around (scroll to the bottom of the photos for some silly moments) and truly so sweet together. I love how their photos turned out and am PUMPED for their October wedding at The Willows here in Lubbock! Congrats you two, and thanks for bringing me along on the journey with you!
